Registration is required for this twilight tour of KD Park and Starry Nights Farm ($15/person). This sustainability themed tour will start at KD Park, where Kenosha County Parks Director Matthew Collins will highlight the park’s master plan, which includes invasive species control, prairie restorations, and stormwater management. We will then head next door to Starry Nights Farm where the Maggio family is raising organic, grass-fed beef – rotationally grazed on 140 acres of pasture. The The Red Oak Restaurant will be on site to serve wood-fired pizza made with local ingredients. Local beer and wine will also be available. Come prepared. Bring your own water bottle, lawn chairs, or picnic blankets. *Sustainability challenge: Bring your own utensils, cups, and plates and be entered to win a gift certificate to the Red Oak Restaurant.
