The Kenosha County Elder Benefit Specialist Program/SHIP offers fall Medicare sessions called “Medicare Options 2015.” The session lasts two hours and is targeted to those on Medicare or who work with older adults. Learn the basics of Medicare coverage, changes in Medicare private health and drug plans for the next year as well as public benefits available to help with health care costs.

Do you…set up medications, run errands, make meals, do yard work, clean house, or handle finances for an adult? Our next 6-week Powerful Tools for Caregiver class begins Tuesday, October 14. This class is for the family/friend caregiver who cares for an adult. The weekly class is held at Hope Lutheran Church, 876 Lance Drive, Twin Lakes, WI, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. from October 14 to November 18. Registration deadline is Friday, October 10, 2014.
