Children in 6th to 9th grade join us for fun experiments! This month, children will look at moon rocks and determine where they came from as well as conducting simple experiments to determine if the craters on the Moon’s surface could be caused by impact events of various magnitudes. Space is limited so registration is required! Call 262-857-8008 or register online at http://www.pringlenc.org/
Just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean there’s nothing out there in the winter time! Join us as we discover what goes on in winter – how plants and animals get ready for the colder weather and snow. Pre-registration is required!
Come join us for the greatest show seen from Earth. The Geminids is one of the best meteor showers of the year and never seems to disappoint observers. Join us for an informal talk about the night skies and then with mugs of hot chocolate, we go out and view the skies. It will be close to the Geminids peak, we should see 50 – 80 meteors an hour! Dress warmly for the weather. Pre-registration is required!
