The recount of votes in the 10th District County Board race was completed late this morning with the results unchanged: 314 for challenger Felix Garcia, 313 for incumbent Supervisor Andy Berg.
ORIGINAL APRIL 10, 2024, RELEASE:
A recount of the votes cast in the April 2 election has been requested in County Board District 10.
The final total certified in this week's canvass was 314 votes for Felix Garcia and 313 votes for Andy Berg.
The recount will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, April 12, in the Hearing Room at the Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th St., Bristol.
The deadline for April 2 election candidates to submit recount petitions is 5 p.m. Friday, April 12.
