I-94 off-ramp work at Highway S to begin Oct. 23

Graphic with text "ROAD CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY"

Work is set to begin Monday, Oct. 23, on improvements to the northbound Interstate 94 off-ramp at Kenosha County Highway S.

This work will involve the addition of a second right-turn lane onto eastbound Highway S.

Right-turning truck traffic will be detoured during construction, while access to local residences and businesses will be maintained. Truck traffic headed east on Highway S will be routed to the Highway E off-ramp and then south to Highway S via the I-94 East Frontage Road.

This truck detour is expected to continue through Nov. 17, 2023. However, this work schedule is weather-dependent and is subject to change.

A construction notice that includes a truck detour map is available here.
