Kenosha County ADRC is now offering Memory Screen Mondays! Memory screens provide relief for individuals concerned about normal memory loss, lead to diagnosis of treatable conditions and offer the ability to make lifestyle changes early when they have the greatest potential for positive effect and the opportunity to participate in making future decisions. Screening results are not a diagnosis, and individuals who have concerns are encouraged to pursue a full medical exam. Appointments available, Mondays, 8 a.m. - noon. Call the ADRC 262-605-6646.
The Kenosha County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) offers no-cost, unbiased workshops for those new to Medicare, or who want to learn more. Trained benefit specialists are available to answer questions and discuss the decisions you’ll need to make, including the basics of Medicare coverage, options for private health and drug coverage, and public benefits that can help with health care costs. If possible, sign up for a workshop 3-4 months before your Medicare starts. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED for the two-hour session. Call the ADRC at 262-605-6646.
