Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Program

Nurse Family Partnership

  • What is the NFP program?

A mom-baby health program that promotes long-term success for moms, their babies, and our community.

Nurses deliver the support moms need to have a healthy pregnancy, become knowledgeable and responsible parents, and provide their babies with the best possible start in life. The relationship between mother and nurse provides the foundation

for strong families, and lives are forever changed – for the better.

  • Who can enroll in the NFP program?

First time mothers prior to their 29th week of pregnancy and pregnant women who have other children who are Kenosha County residents that meet income requirements. The program is free regardless of insurance status.

  • How does the NFP program work?

A Nurse will visit you in your home throughout your pregnancy and until your baby is 2 years old. Fathers, family members, and friends are encouraged to attend the visits to support the mother-to-be.

To set up an appointment with a Nurse Home Visitor or for more information, please contact us at (262) 605-6797 and ask for a NFP Nurse.
