Household Hazardous Waste Disposal

The household hazardous waste disposal event is held each spring. This is a free program that gives Kenosha County residents the opportunity to dispose of their household hazardous waste in an environmentally friendly way.

Kenosha/Racine Agricultural Clean Sweep

If you are an active farmer, owner of agricultural land, nursery, orchard, or greenhouse operator in Kenosha or Racine County, you may bring in up to 200 pounds of waste free of charge. The event is held every two years. Check back for the next scheduled date.

Focus on Energy Program

Did you know that you can get free energy and water-saving products, light LED light bulbs, and high-efficiency showerheads through Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy Program

Focus on Energy helps Wisconsin residents lower their energy consumption and costs by making their homes more energy-efficient. Since 2001, Focus on Energy has provided incentives to over 2.7 million homeowners, helping them save over $202 million in energy costs and environmental benefits by making simple changes in their homes.

SOLARacine

SOLARacine is a Greening Greater Racine initiative. This is a buy program where vetted vendors chose Sunday Vest and Current Electric to recruit people and businesses to sign up for solar assessments, and track their progress to completion. Kenosha County residents are also eligible for this program.
