Video Visitation Rules and Guidelines
Parties wishing to visit inmates at either facility will need to register to be a visitor and then schedule the visit at gettingout.com.
Register and Schedule an On-Site Visit
To register and schedule an on-site visit, go to gettingout.com. Inmates are eligible for one free on-site visit per week. The on-site visit must take place at the facility the inmate is housed at.
Visit from Home/Android Device/Apple Device
Visitors can conduct a video visit with an inmate from their home, Android device, or Apple device. The following is required:
- Email address to register and schedule visits
- Valid photo ID for registration and at check-in
- A computer or mobile device with internet connectivity, camera and speakers
- Headphones are highly recommended
There is a fee of $0.25 per minute for off-site inmate video visitation.

Termination and Suspension of Visits
Any inappropriate behavior may result in the suspension or revocation of visiting privileges by the visitor(s) and/or inmate. The facility can prevent or terminate any visit that appears to be disruptive or a threat to facility safety and security or violates any of the following guidelines:
- Any disruptive behavior on the part of the inmate or the visitor
- Any obvious visible violation of the established visitation dress code
- Any display of nudity
- Any behavior or actions that are of a sexual nature
- Any use or display of weapons (e.g., guns, knives, ammunition) as well as drugs/alcohol or related paraphernalia
- Any activity or display of graphics/paraphernalia associated with any gang or security threat group
- Unlawful activity or depiction of unlawful activity
Dress Code
Any person that wishes to visit with an inmate housed at the Kenosha Pre-Trial Facility or Kenosha County Detention Center must comply with the following guidelines. These guidelines will also be posted at the public visitation entrance.
Female Visitors Age 12 and Older
- Shorts shall cover customarily covered areas of the anatomy, including the buttocks and crotch area, both when standing and sitting. Shorts no higher than mid-thigh comply. Short-shorts, jogging shorts, cut-offs, and other obviously inappropriate short garments are prohibited.
- Skirts and dresses shall extend to mid-thigh, seated.
- Slits in skirts and dresses shall rise no higher than mid-thigh, seated.
- Sheer (see-through) clothing is prohibited.
- The top of the clothing shall be no lower than the underarm in the front and back. Bare midriffs and strapless tops, tube tops, and swimsuits are prohibited.
- Shoes shall be worn at all times.
- Gang "colors" and other gang displays are prohibited.
Male Visitors Age 12 and Older

- Shirts shall be worn at all times. Muscle shirts, bare midriff shirts, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited.
- Shoes shall be worn at all times.
- Gang "colors" and other gang displays are prohibited.
