Visitors to the arboretum can take a guided tour via the brochure available in the Extension Office at the County Center or by download here. The trees are also marked with placards that include a QR code, linking smartphone users to more information about them on the Extension website. For a list of tree species, click here.

History

The Kenosha County Center Prairie was established in 2016 and the Arboretum was established in 2020. Restoration of the tall-grass prairie provides a safe habitat for local bird and insect species while providing a recreational and educational environment for the Kenosha County community.
