Voter Registration Information

Online: Voters can register to vote online at MyVote (myvote.wi.gov) up to 20 days before an Election. If a voter has a valid State of Wisconsin Driver's License or State of Wisconsin ID card issued by the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), registration can be done online at MyVote.

Mail: Voters can register by mail to their Municipal Clerk up to 20 days before an Election. A complete registration form (Voter Registration Form (PDF)) and Proof of Residence are required to register. Examples include: a copy of a valid and unexpired Wisconsin Driver's License or ID Card, a utility bill, a paycheck/pay stub, or correspondence from a unit of government.

In-Person (Clerk's Office): Voters can register in person at their Municipal Clerk's office until the Friday before an Election. Proof of Residence is required to register. Examples include: a copy of a valid and unexpired Wisconsin Driver's License or ID Card, a utility bill, a paycheck/pay stub, or correspondence from a unit of government.

In-Person (Polling Location): Voters can register at their polling location on Election Day. Proof of Residence is required to register. Examples include: a copy of a valid and unexpired Wisconsin Driver's License or ID Card, a utility bill, a paycheck/pay stub, or correspondence from a unit of government.
