Child Care Assistance

Program Information

The Child Care Assistance / Wisconsin SHARES program helps provide access to financial assistance on child care expenses for eligible participants. Families can apply for help with paying for child care costs to work and attend school/training activities within the policy guidelines.

Parents choose a child care provider from those who are county certified or state licensed. Parents will be responsible for paying part of the child care costs based on their income, the number of children who need care, family size, and the type of child care provider chosen.
