FoodShare Program
About the Program
The FoodShare program was created to help stop hunger and to improve nutrition and health. FoodShare helps low-income people and families to buy the food they need for good health. Each month, individuals and families across Wisconsin get help from FoodShare. They are people of all ages who have a job but have low incomes, are living on a small or fixed income, have lost their jobs, are retired, or are disabled and unable to work. To learn more about FoodShare Wisconsin, visit their website.
How to Apply
You can apply or submit an application for FoodShare:
- Online using the ACCESS Website
- By calling our (WKRP) consortium at 1-888-794-5820
- In person at the Kenosha County Job Center (8600 Sheridan Road) or the Kenosha County Center (corners of Highways 45 and 50)
- By mailing, faxing, or dropping off a paper application
It is important that you start your application as soon as possible. This will be the start date of your benefits. The start date is the date the agency receives your name, address, and signature electronically, by telephone, or by paper form. The sooner you apply, the more benefits you may receive for this month. You will have 30 days to complete the full application.
