Sheriff's Volunteers Program

Program Details

The Sheriff’s Volunteers program is for civilians who would like to volunteer their services. As a Sheriff’s Volunteer, you will become an integral part of the department’s daily operations. 

The Sheriff’s Department needs assistance in:

  • Assisting at Kenosha Sheriff’s Department community events
  • Filling administrative paperwork
  • Managing inventory
  • Providing building tours
  • Scanning documents

The above duties are just a few of the skills and duties constantly being sought by the department.

Requirements

Sheriff’s Volunteers must pass a screening process, brief orientation and then they can serve up to 20 hours per week. Volunteers receive department credentials and a Sheriff’s Volunteer polo style shirt. Volunteers will be assigned an immediate supervisor who coordinates their schedule.

If you are interested in contributing your time and expertise, please submit a Sheriff’s Volunteer application (PDF) to Sergeant Mark Malecki. You may print the application and drop it off at the Sheriff’s Department front counter at: Kenosha Sheriff’s Department
