Lottery Credits

Lottery & Gaming Credit for Kenosha County Residents

Once you have applied for and received the lottery and gaming credit, you do not need to file another application until your primary residence changes.

You may claim a lottery and gaming credit for a tax year if, on January 1 of the tax year, you were an owner of the property and used that property as your primary residence. (Note: Your primary residence is where you live most of the time. When you are temporarily away, it is the home to which you intend to return. You can have only one primary residence and you may only claim one credit.)

Listing Check

If your name appears on the listing on this website, and you meet the eligibility requirements discussed earlier, you don’t have to do anything. Your name on this list means that you are precertified and you will automatically receive the credit on your tax bill.

If you have friends or relatives that do not have access to this listing via the internet, especially if they are elderly, please check for them and notify them if there is a need to make changes. The property owner must make any changes.
