Kenosha County Internet Policy

In accordance with the State of Wisconsin’s laws, including the open records laws under Chapter 19 of the statutes, Kenosha County government provides access to public records. It is the intent of Kenosha County government to provide access to certain public records in an electronic format via the Internet as a service to the community, while protecting the privacy interests of the citizens in the community, if possible.No information will be provided via the Internet that is not otherwise made available to the public at or by the Kenosha County government offices.

In the instance of land information, names of property owners shall be available via the Internet when attached to individual, identifiable land parcels. At this time, the ability to search properties by owners name will not be provided, as the limited need for this service does not counter related privacy concerns.

Technical Requirements

The Property Inquiry application is based on Javascript. Javascript must be enabled in your browser in order to use this application. The following browsers are known to be compatible:

  • Firefox 3.5 or higher
  • Google Chrome 4 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 7 or higher
  • Safari 3 or higher


The Property Inquiry application uses a copy of the production data. The information you view in this application will always be a day behind. Additionally, much of this data is provided by the municipal assessors on an annual basis. If a change to property or assessment information as made by an assessor, that change will not appear on Property Inquiry until our next scheduled update.
