[ARCHIVED] Highway E resurfacing work to begin Monday, July 23

A resurfacing project on Kenosha County Trunk Highway E in the Village of Somers is set to begin Monday, July 23, weather permitting.

The project includes the area of Highway E (12th Street) between highways EA (72nd Avenue) and 31 (Green Bay Road). Completion is expected at the end of August.

The roadway will remain open to traffic during construction, although there will be periodic single-lane closures with a flagging operation in place.

Drivers are urged to use caution and expect delays.
