A portion of Kenosha County Highway W (Fox River Road) in the Village of Salem Lakes is scheduled to be resurfaced during the week of June 3, weather permitting.
This project involves the stretch of Highway W beginning at Highway F (93rd Street) and continuing north about one mile, to the southern limits of where the road was reconstructed in 2017.
The affected area will remain open to traffic during the paving operation, although drivers should expect delays due to lane closures and flagging operations.
Drivers are reminded to drive with caution to prevent the wet and oily tar coat from staining their vehicle exteriors.
