Kenosha County’s Bike-to-Work Weeks continue through June 15, and those who participate remain eligible to win locally donated prizes, County Executive Jim Kreuser is reminding residents.

The Bike to Work Weeks Contest is a part of the county and city of Kenosha’s annual bicycling promotion, which began June 1.

Each day people bike to work during these two weeks, they are encouraged to submit a contest entry at http://www.kenoshacounty.org/bikecontest.

“Bike-to-Work Weeks are a great time to get some exercise, view our county from a different perspective, and possibly take home one of the great prizes that our partners have generously donated,” Kreuser said.

This year’s prize sponsors are BikeKenosha, Boundless Adventures, Jack Andrea, Jockey, the Kenosha Bicycle Ambassadors, Kenosha County Golf, Kenosha Public Museums, the Kenosha Water Utility, Southport Bikes & Boards and Total Cyclery.

The trove of prizes includes cycling clothing, water bottles, golf rounds, bike accessories and tune-ups and other cycling paraphernalia.

Bike-to-Work Weeks are held annually with the support of the county executive, the County Board, Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian, the Kenosha City Council, the Kenosha Bicycle Ambassadors and the Kenosha County Multiuse Trail Committee.
