[ARCHIVED] County Clerk's Office changes hours for passport applicants

Effective immediately, the Kenosha County Clerk’s Office has changed the hours that it accepts passport applications.

Applications will now be accepted by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Applicants may schedule an appointment by calling 262-653-2552.

County Clerk Mary T. Kubicki said the limited passport hours are due to staffing limitations in her office.

Additionally, no passport applications will be accepted the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s.

The County Clerk’s Office offers passport services, including the taking of photos, as an alternative to the Post Office. More information about the service, including the federally mandated documents needed to apply, is available at https://www.kenoshacounty.org/141/Passport.
