Kenosha County, partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, is preparing to move forward with the construction of the County Trunk Highway C shared-use path between 114th Avenue and Bain Station Road in the Village of Pleasant Prairie.

This project consists of the building of a shared-use path, boardwalk, and pedestrian bridge crossing the Des Plaines River on the south side of Highway C.

Kenosha County has scheduled a public information meeting to provide the public with additional information regarding the construction schedule and traffic impacts. At the meeting, representatives from the county and contractor will be available to discuss the project and answer any questions you may have.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Pleasant Prairie Village Hall Auditorium, 9915 39th Ave.

Those who are unable to attend this meeting and have any questions are encouraged to contact Kenosha County Highway Director Clement Abongwa at 262-653-1870 or Clement.Abongwa@kenoshacounty.org
