[ARCHIVED] Western Transit service continuing; door-to-door service encouraged

Western Kenosha County Transit bus

Western Kenosha County Transit is continuing to offer door-to-door and regular fixed-route public transit to Kenosha County residents west of I-94.

During Governor Tony Evers’ Safer-at-Home order, all riders needing to make essential trips are encouraged to request door-to-door service instead of the fixed route. The following temporary changes are in effect immediately:

1. Fare for door-to-door service is $2, the same as the regular route.

2. Same day trip requests will be honored, if possible. Reservations still encouraged.

3. Service may be extended to destinations in neighboring Wisconsin counties, based on availability. This may include essential trips to Milwaukee.

Service hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

To schedule your trip, call Western Kenosha County Transit at 1-888-203-3498. For questions regarding transportation, please call Lauren Coffman at 262-605-6615.
