[ARCHIVED] Illinois man arrested in KDOG heroin bust

On Thursday, March 26th, 2020, at approximately 1100 hours, the Kenosha Drug Operation Group (KDOG) conducted a field arrest (Buy/Bust) of an individual of interest in a drug investigation. Assisting in the operation were members of the Kenosha Police Department’s Gang Unit, Kenosha Sheriff’s Department Patrol Units and members of the Lake County Illinois Drug Unit.

KDOG was able to set up a buy/bust of Illinois resident Morris H. Parham M/B 09/08/1969. Mr. Parham was identified as the subject of an ongoing drug investigation for selling heroin that also contained fentanyl. Upon Mr. Parham’s arrival to the above location, He was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Parham was in possession of approximately 3 grams of heroin at the time of his arrest. The heroin was tested and contained fentanyl.

During the investigation, KDOG Detectives conducted several controlled buys with Mr. Parham which lead to his arrest. A total of about 10 grams of heroin with fentanyl along with 2 grams of crack cocaine were recovered from Mr. Parham over the course of the investigation.

Mr. Parham is currently in custody at the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Jail. He is being charged with:

  • Five counts of Manufacture/Delivery of heroin, all Felony charges
