On 12-22-2022 KSD deputies were dispatched to a trouble unknown located in the 38300 block of 87th Street.  The dispatcher who answered the call for service overheard a woman screaming and a male threatening the woman.  Several minutes later another call was received by KJS dispatch of a reported male attacking a female at the intersection of 83 north and STH-50.  The two calls were determined to be related.

The investigation revealed that the suspect, Justin M Bollinger had broken into his girlfriend’s current residence and forced her out of the residence against her will and into his vehicle.  At the intersection of STH 50 and STH 83 North, the vehicle came to a stop for a red light and the victim took this opportunity to exit Bollinger’s vehicle.  Bollinger fled the scene and has been on the run since 12-22-23.  A warrant for his arrest was issued.

On 1-5-2023 at approximately 10:41 AM, the US Marshall’s Service attempted to take Justin Bollinger into custody at a residence located in Wadsworth IL.  Prior to making contact with Bollinger at the residence, he fled in a white Chevy 1500 pickup leading US Marshall’s Officers on a high-speed chase westbound on IL Hwy 173 and the WI/IL Stateline.  Bollinger abandoned his vehicle in Illinois at IL Hwy 173 at Siedschlag Rd and fled northbound on foot.

KSD Deputies responded to the area and after an extensive search with the US Marshalls Office were unable to locate Bollinger.  Later that evening Bollinger was taken into custody without incident at his father’s residence by KSD Deputies.
