This morning 2-24-23 at approximately 9:00 AM the Kenosha Drug Operations Group (KDOG), KSD Tactical Response Team, and KPD Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted a joint operation and served a search warrant at a residence in the 6800 block of 14th Avenue in the City of Kenosha.

One suspect, Tyrone Price Sr. was taken into custody.  Over $2,500 in U.S. currency, 883.5 grams of THC/Marijuana product, 3.5 grams of cocaine, and .7 grams of heroin were seized.

During the search warrant, 23 dogs were located and turned over to KPD Community Service Officers (CSOs) for transport to Safe Harbor.  Based on the number of dogs/puppies, it is believed that an illegal breeding operation was also occurring in the residence.  That investigation is being handled by KPD CSOs.

Mr. Price was booked into the Kenosha County Jail on the following charges:

  • Possess w/ intent to deliver marijuana (more than 200 g){Enhancer – 1000 feet of school / 2nd Subsequent}
  • Possession of Cocaine - {Enhancer – 1000 feet of school / 2nd Subsequent}
  • Possession of Heroin - {Enhancer – 1000 feet of school / 2nd Subsequent}
  • Maintaining a Drug House

No law enforcement, civilians, or animals were injured during the operation.  Sheriff David Zoerner said the KSD is committed to making every effort to suppress the illegal use and distribution of narcotics in Kenosha County and is proud of the hard work and coordination between the KSD and KPD.
