& Veterans Informational/Benefits Fair
Hosted by Racine & Kenosha Counties
*Open to all Veterans and Spouses Date: Saturday, October 1st, 2016
Time: 9am to 2pm Location: The Racine Family YMCA-Lakefront Branch

Free Services Available: -Housing -Homeless Program -Financial Assistance
-Eligibility & Enrollment -Employment Services -Local Veteran Services Organizations -Legal Assistance -Aid to Needy Veterans -Vision Screenings
-Haircuts -Clothing

Please bring a copy of your discharge with you if you are looking for benefits for the first time. Copy you bring in must be legible AND must show character of discharge (e.g. Honorable, Under Honorable Conditions, etc.). If you believe you will be applying for VA Healthcare or a Pension program, please bring 2015 income and asset information with you. Thank you.

Transportation: For those coming from Kenosha to the Stand Down event, there will be a van giving FREE rides to Racine from Kenosha and back beginning at 7:45am. The van will pick up at 8600 Sheridan Rd., Kenosha, WI 53143 and drop off at the Stand Down event. There will be two pick ups from 7:45am to 9am, hourly pick ups/drop offs during the event and two drop offs from 2pm to 3pm.

Special Promotion:
The Racine Family YMCA will be offering a special membership promotion the day of the event. They will be waiving the joining fee and offering 40% off the membership price. If interested, please bring proof of income. *The Racine Family YMCA accepts billing information in the form of checking or saving accounts information and credit or debit cards. The billing is done on the 15th of every month. If interested, please bring applicable billing information.
