[ARCHIVED] Petrifying Springs Golf Course Celebrates its 80th Anniversary

Petrifying Springs Golf Course is celebrating its 80th Anniversary in 2016.

County Executive Jim Kreuser is welcoming all golfers to come out to Pets and enjoy this great public facility during a week-long celebration, Sunday May 8th to Friday May 13th. During this celebration, guests can take advantage of specials on golf, food, drinks, and golf shop merchandise. There will be discounted golf fees and a golf coupon for future discounts.

Golfers can enjoy greens fee and cart fees of $8 for 9 holes. At these rates, golfers can walk 9 holes for $8 or 18 holes for $16 and ride 9 holes for $16, or ride 18 holes for $32. The golf course will be offering popcorn, sodas, water, chips, candy, logo balls, ball markers and ball mark repair tools for only 80-cents.

The flagship of Kenosha County Parks, Petrifying Springs is the oldest and largest park in the system. Named the #1 Sporty Course in Wisconsin by Gary D'Amato of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and Best of Kenosha County for the past three years. Abundant trees and a rolling landscape add beauty and challenge to this delightful 18-hole, player friendly 6017 yard golf course.

Petrifying Springs Golf Course is located in northeastern Kenosha County; the Petrifying Springs clubhouse is 1/2-mile east of the intersection of Highway 31 and County Road A. Enter off of County Road A.
