[ARCHIVED] Kenosha County Veterans Services Office to provide services biweekly in Village of Silver Lake

Kenosha County Veterans Services is announcing new hours of operation in the Village of Silver Lake for veterans and families living in the western part of the county.

Effective July 13, 2016, Veterans Services Office personnel will be on site at the Village of Silver Lake, located at 113 S. First Street, Silver Lake, WI, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month to assist veterans and their families with processing claims to obtain local, state and federal VA benefits.

“This is one example of how we, in Kenosha County, continuously strive to improve our outreach to those who so valiantly served and defended our country,” County Executive Jim Kreuser said.

The mission of Kenosha County Veterans Services is to assist veterans and their families with obtaining local, state and federal benefits. The office helps them by facilitating the claims application process and assist them in completing numerous other legal documents. The office is committed to honor and advocate for veterans, provide quality services and programs for them and their families.
Veterans and their families are encouraged to make an appointment in advance to avoid unnecessary wait time. Please call 262-605-6690 for additional information and to make an appointment.
