[ARCHIVED] Sandbags available at Wilmot gravel pit

Sandbags for flood-affected residents will be available round the clock at the Wilmot County Gravel Pit, Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser announced tonight.

The pit will remain open after normal hours until further notice. It is located at 32303 116th St. (Highway C).

Sand and bags will be available; residents will need to fill them.

All Kenosha County residents or businesses that have sustained should report it to the Kenosha County Emergency Management Flood Hotline at 262-605-7924, and leave a message detailing the damage sustained. Damage may also be reported by email at disaster@kenoshacounty.org. Doing so will assist the county in efforts to obtain state and federal disaster aid.
