Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser invites bike riders of all ability levels to participate in the Eighth Annual Fall Wheel Ride to Petrifying Springs Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 30.

“Fall is a beautiful time of the year in Kenosha County, and what better way to celebrate it than a bike ride to Petrifying Springs Park with the family?” Kreuser said.

Riders are encouraged to select one of two starting points to the Petrifying Springs Biergarten, located near the park’s Highway JR entrance. The starting points are:

  • 9 a.m. at Simmons Island Park, 44th Street and Kennedy Drive – 6.3 miles (one way) to the Petrifying Springs Park Biergarten
  • 9:30 a.m. at Bose Elementary School, 1900 15th St. – 2.5 miles (one way) to the Petrifying Springs Park Biergarten

Food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided for riders by the Kenosha County Division of Parks in collaboration with the Petrifying Springs Biergarten. There will also be bike activities at the pavilion.
