[ARCHIVED] County to sponsor bike ride to Dairy Breakfast

Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser is inviting people to participate in the DairyAir Dairy Breakfast ride on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

The starting point for the event is:

  • 7 a.m. at Bristol Woods Park, 9800 160th Ave., Bristol, for a 12.6-mile ride to the Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast at Spoerlein Farms, 25222 52nd St, Brighton. It is a 25-mile ride round-trip. The ride is moderately difficult with some hills. People are asked to use their best judgment and participate based on their own skill level.

There will also be special bike parking and a tented rest area for riders at the Dairy Breakfast.

A Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department squad car will follow the back of the pack for safety purposes.

There is no cost to participate in the ride or to tour the farm. Dairy Breakfast tickets are $6 for adults; children under 6 are free. For more information about the Dairy Breakfast, call 262-515-5254 or send an email to kenoshacountydairypromo@gmail.com.
