[ARCHIVED] Local hairdressers give back to foster kids in ‘Haircut for the Holidays’

In support of foster parents in Kenosha County, approximately 25 local hairdressers spent a recent evening giving free haircuts to local foster kids. The event, called Haircut for the Holidays, organized by Danielle Rasmussen of Hair Cuttery, took place Thursday, Dec. 6 at Century 21 Innovations Real Estate Café — a space donated for the event by Jamie Warosh.

Kenosha County Foster Parent Board president, Kristie Fowler, helped organize the event with online registration. This was a great example of how the private business industry or you can help foster parents when you want to help foster children but not be able to parent.
