[ARCHIVED] Sheriff's Department seeks inmate who failed to return to Detention Center

Missing inmate Charles Zay Johnson

On 03/11/20 deputies responded to the 2400 block of 53rd Street in the City of Kenosha in an attempt to locate a Kenosha County Detention Center (KCDC) inmate that failed to comply with the regulations of his Electronic Monitoring program.

Inmate Charles Zay Johnson violated the program after testing positive for alcohol and was ordered to return to the KCDC due to the violation. According to KCDC officers, Charles did not return. Deputies were not able to locate Johnson as he has tampered with his GPS leg monitor. A charge of Escape is being requested against Johnson at this time.
