[ARCHIVED] Highway H to close just north of Highway 50 for Pleasant Prairie utility work

CTH C Water Main detour map

A portion of Kenosha County Highway H will be closed for roughly a month beginning Aug. 3, as the Village of Pleasant Prairie installs new water mains in the area in advance of next year’s Highway 50 reconstruction project.

The closure includes the stretch of Highway H (88th Avenue) between Highway 50 (75th Street) and 67th Street. While the road will be closed to through traffic, residents within the area will have access to their properties at all times.

Drivers are urged to detour around the closed area via Highway K (60th Street), Highway 31 (Green Bay Road) and Highway 50. A detour map is available here.

This work will be conducted weather permitting, with the schedule subject to change.
