[ARCHIVED] REAL ESTATE PROPERTY TAXES DUE 7/31/13

Kenosha County Treasurer Teri Jacobson today reminds Kenosha County Taxpayers that the final installment for their Property Tax is due on or before July 31st.

If your property is in Pleasant Prairie and you are paying 2012 property taxes, you must pay the Village of Pleasant Prairie Treasurer Kathy Goessl at the Village Office (9915-39th Ave., Pleasant Prairie). If your property is in the City of Kenosha and you are paying 2012 property taxes, you must pay the City of Kenosha Treasurer Deb Salas at the Municipal Building (625-52nd St., Kenosha).

If your property is located anywhere else in Kenosha County or you have prior year delinquent taxes, you must pay the Kenosha County Treasurer Teri Jacobson. The County Treasurer’s Office offers several options for payment.

First, you may mail in your check or money order to our office. Please mail the payments to: Kenosha County Treasurer, 1010-56th St. Kenosha, WI. 53140. If you would like a return receipt mailed to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Make sure that your mail is postmarked with a US Postmark on or before July 31st.

Second, you may pay in person by cash, check or money order at the County Treasurer’s Office (1010-56th St., Kenosha) or at the Kenosha elected Officials Office located at Highways 50 & 45 in Bristol WI.

Third, you may pay by Credit Card by using Point & Pay either at the counter or online. Follow the link online to https://client.pointandpay.net/web/KenoshaCountyTreasurerWI . You should be aware that an additional charge will be added by Point & Pay if you use your credit card to pay your tax bill. If you have questions or concerns about using the Point & Pay web site, please contact them at 1-888-891-6064X1.

It is important that you meet the July 31st deadline. If you do not meet the July 31st deadline the balance on your account will be considered delinquent and subject to interest and penalty of 1.5% per month retroactive to February 1st.
