The Kenosha County Department of Public Works, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, is planning improvements to the existing two-lane, rural Highway K (60th Street) roadway from 94th Court to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

Construction is scheduled to occur in the summer and fall of 2022.

More information about the project — including maps and preliminary roadway layout plans — is included in a project mailer that was distributed to properties in the area. You can view that document here.

As described in the mailer, written comments about the project will be accepted until April 30.
