Kenosha County Highway L (18th Street) is scheduled to be closed to through traffic between 39th and 41st avenues beginning Monday, May 17, to allow for the installation of a sanitary sewer connection to a subdivision being developed nearby.
This work, to be conducted by a contractor for the subdivision developer, is expected to be completed by Friday, May 28.
A marked detour will route drivers around the work zone via Highway 31 (Green Bay Road), Highway E (12th Street) and 30th Avenue.
Access to properties in the area will be maintained while the work occurs.
