Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser is announcing that the gates to KD Park will be opened on Tuesday, March 25th.
The gates had been closed on March 11th due to wet, impassable conditions. People could park outside of the gates and walk in to the park.
“Conditions are right now that it is safe to allow vehicle traffic back in the park,” Kreuser said Monday. “Parks employees will continue to monitor the situation.”
The park is located at 8530 352nd Avenue, south of Highway 50 in the Town of Wheatland and Village of Twin Lakes.
