As crews work to reconstruct the intersection of highways U and Q in the Village of Bristol, a short stretch of Highway U just north of the intersection is set to be closed May 5 through mid-summer.
Drivers are urged to detour around the closure via highways Q (104th Avenue), MB (160th Avenue) and C (Wilmot Road).

May 12, 2022, update:
Highway Q is scheduled to be closed between highways U and MB on Friday, May 13, for approximately one day, while crews perform a culvert crossing.
Drivers are encouraged to detour around the Highway Q closure via highways U, MB and CJ (Horton Road).
