[ARCHIVED] Rebels and Redcoats Revolutionary War Reenactment to be held

The Rebels and Redcoats will fight an epic battle to determine if Fox River Park will remain in Kenosha County or will become part of the British Empire.

The Rebels and Redcoats Revolutionary War Reenactment will be held on June 21st and 22nd at Fox River Park, 9521 304th Ave., Burlington. It is hosted by the North West Territory Alliance and sponsored by Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser and the Kenosha County Division of Parks.

The reenactment is free to the public and open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 22nd. A full schedule of events and driving directions can be found on the Kenosha County Parks Division website here.

There will be artillery demonstrations, military band concerts, a fashion show, tomahawk throwing, military and civilian encampments, battles and other displays and demonstrations of military and civilian life styles of the period.

The public is encouraged to visit the camp sites and experience the life styles of soldiers and civilians in the 1770s.
