[ARCHIVED] National Night Out to be held in three locations

National Night Out will be celebrated at three Kenosha locations from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

The locations for the events will be at the Boys & Girls Club 1330-52nd Street, Wesley United Methodist Church 4600-60th Street and Lincoln Park 6900-18th Ave.

The free events are being sponsored by the Kenosha County Division of Children and Family Services, the City of Kenosha, Kenosha Kingfish, the Mahone Fund, Wesley United Methodist Church, and Greater Mt. Hebron COGIC.

The events at the Boys & Girls Club and Wesley United Methodist Church will offer food, face painting, fun contests, games and prizes. Entertainment will include music, a balloon artist and dancers.

The event at Lincoln Park – a collaboration with the Greater Mt. Hebron COGIC, Journey Church, Kenosha Kingfish, the Mahone Fund and the City of Kenosha – will offer food, face painting, fun contests, games, prizes, baseball scrimmages and backpacks filled with school supplies. Entertainment will include music, a balloon artist and dancers.

All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate, Donna Rhodes, Gang Intervention Supervisor for the county’s Division of Children and Family Services said.
