[ARCHIVED] Governor Walker Proclaims August Child Support Awareness Month in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Child Support Enforcement Association (WCSEA) is pleased to announce that Governor Walker has officially designated August as Child Support Awareness Month in Wisconsin. This announcement comes as hundreds of child support professionals are set to gather in Milwaukee this week for the National Child Support Enforcement Association's Leadership Symposium for continuing education on leading child support issues.

The Wisconsin Child Support Program serves the state by assisting parents with children to establish and collect support, and by helping parents who do not have custody of their children prepare for and find employment. In doing so, county child support agencies benefit taxpayers by reducing public assistance spending for single parent families.
