The Kenosha County Parks Division has started its ash tree removal at Petrifying Springs Park. Due to the amount of heavy equipment within the golf course, cross country skiing will be temporarily closed through the remainder of the project. Cross Country Skiing will be available through the UW-Parkside trails. Petrifying Springs Park will remain open to the general public during the removal of the ash tree.
