[ARCHIVED] Native varieties of trees and shrubs available through the Kenosha County Tree Program

A wide variety of trees and shrubs are available for sale through the Kenosha County Tree Program. Kenosha County has offered these native species for more than 25 years and, in that time, nearly one million trees have been sold.

The purpose of the program is to promote conservation, reforestation and to create a more beautiful, healthy and ecologically balanced environment.

The Kenosha County Tree Program offers transplants and seedlings of a variety of evergreens, hardwoods and shrubs in bundles of 25, at a cost of $20-$25 per bundle. Varieties of trees and shrubs change from year-to-year depending upon availability, performance and demand trends. This year we have available Colorado and Norway Spruce, Frasier Fir, White Pine, Black Walnut, Hazelnut, Dogwood, Chestnut, Serviceberry, Crabapple, Cherry, Plum, Lilacs, Birch, Oaks, Maples and many more.

The sale is open to the public and you do not need to be a Kenosha County resident to participate.

Order forms can be obtained at the Division of Planning and Development, 19600 - 75th Street in Bristol, or visit our website at http://www.kenoshacounty.org/DocumentCenter/View/5903

Deadline for ordering is March 3, 2017. Tree pick-up is at the Kenosha County Center (Hwy45 & Hwy50) and is typically in late April. Purchasers will be contacted by mail when the pick-up date is finalized. Supply is limited so don’t hesitate.
