[ARCHIVED] Kenosha County Tax Deed Auction - October 22, 2012

Mary T. Schuch-Krebs, Kenosha County Clerk, announced that there will be a Kenosha County Tax Deed Auction by sealed bid, on Monday, October 22, 2012. Sealed bids will be accepted through 12:45 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 and opened at 1:00 p.m.

There is a listing in the County Clerk’s Office along with the terms and conditions of sale. Also available on the Clerk's webpage at www.kenoshacounty.org.

All bids will start at a minimum bid and the County has the right to determine which bid is most advantageous to the County. All bids shall be sealed with the parcel number written on the out side of the envelope. If the successful bidder is not present at the opening, they will be notified by phone. Upon receiving notification, they shall submit the full amount of sale price, in cash, cashiers check or money order to the County Clerk by 4:00 p.m., on Friday, October 26, 2012. All buyers are responsible for investigating the condition of the property and any specials that may be owing on these properties.

Upon completing the sale, the buyer will receive a quit claim deed from Kenosha County. All sales are final. The recording fee is $30.00 per parcel.
