[ARCHIVED] New high-tech golf tool available at Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Courses

Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser is pleased to announce that Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Course have purchased a new Flight Scope X3 Launch Monitor.

The Flight Scope X3 Launch Monitor will be used to show junior golfers their club and swing data on video. It will allow the golf professionals to give more specific instruction to a wide range of skill levels. During the fitting session, the Flight Scope will really aid in the selection of clubs that people should be playing.

Flight Scope technology uses 3D radar and high speed cameras to give the most accurate data. It’s capable of giving 28 different data points to help assist in the golf lessons and clinics. Club head speed, launch angle, ball speed and club path are just a few examples of the capabilities.

“We have a Flight Scope Certified Staff to ensure that you are receiving the correct information about your swing,” said Daniel Drier, Kenosha County’s general manager of golf operations.

Drier said the purchase was made possible through donations to the Kenosha County Executive Cup Golf Outing hosted annually by Kreuser.

“The outing has raised a great amount of money for the Junior Golf Program, and teaching and club fitting tools like the Flight Scope,” he said.

To open up the season at Brighton Dale Links, there will be a Spring Scramble on Saturday, April 29th. This is a 4-person 18-hole scramble with prizes valued at over $4,200 and costs only $60 per player.
