[ARCHIVED] Kenosha County Parks 90th Anniversary Celebration

Kenosha County Parks is celebrating its 90th Anniversary by hosting a free community event on Saturday August 5th at Petrifying Springs Park starting at noon and closing with fireworks at dusk. The event will contain free entertainment including live music, face painters, magicians, concessions and children’s activities throughout the park.

Food and refreshments will be provided by the Petrifying Springs Biergarten where headliner bands will be performing from noon to 8:30 p.m. Western Kenosha County Transit will provide shuttle services for visitors to pavilion and parking areas including overflow parking located at UW-Parkside parking lot B. Park pavilions will host a schedule of activities throughout the event that invites the public to enjoy free entertainment and attractions. Various local vendors will also have demonstration booths to interact with the public and offer numerous educational and outreach activities located alongside the park’s walking trail.
