KD Park will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 29 and 30, for aerial spraying of herbicide to control phragmites, an invasive wetland grass.
This eradication effort will help to restore the affected section of the park into a prairie.
The nearby Warren Close Bark Park will remain open throughout the spraying.
More information about phragmites, also known as common reed grass, is at http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/invasives/fact/phragmites.html.
