On 05-21-18 at approximately 6:08 p.m. the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department responded to a sexual assault complaint that took place in the 9400 block of the Kenosha County Bike Trail.
Further investigation revealed that an 18-year-old female was walking alone at this location when she was approached by a male black described to be in his late 20s to early 30s and approximately 5’03 to 5’06 with a stocky build. Further description of the suspect is a dark blue zip-up hoodie with white stripes, a dark baseball hat with scruffy facial hair. Suspect may be bald or with close shaved hair.
Suspect at this time is believed to be operating a tan colored sedan of unknown make or model.
The victim in this case was treated and released from area hospital.
The Kenosha Sheriff’s Department will increase patrols of the area. Citizens are reminded to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings at all times, and are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Department to report any suspicious activity.

At this time the department cannot confirm if this is the same suspect from the assault on March 25th of this year, but the description and circumstances are similar. This is a very active and open investigation.
MAY 24, 2018 UPDATE:
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has developed a better description of the vehicle involved in this incident.
It is described as a 1998-2005 4-door Chevrolet Impala with round rear taillights. Tan-gold in color. Unknown state registration. No tint on any of the vehicle’s windows.
There is reportedly noticeable damage to the front driver’s side fender.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau is still actively following up on other leads that they have developed regarding this incident. Anyone with any information is urged to notify the Department.
