County Tree Program

Line of Cedar Trees at a Tree FarmConserving Trees

The Kenosha County annual tree and shrub sale has been offered for almost 40 years and in that time, has sold nearly one million trees.  The program is intended to encourage area residents to plant native trees and shrubs for conservation and wildlife habitat enhancement.  Each year we offer a variety of conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs well-suited for growing in our area.  The annual sale begins in the fall, usually in late October.   Tree pick-up day occurs the following spring, typically in late-April.  Email notification is sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the pick-up date.

Trees and shrubs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis using the online shopping catalog.   A credit card must be used for payment at the time the order is placed.  Sale is open to the general public, and you do not need to be a Kenosha County resident.  However, you must be able to pick-up your order in the spring.  We do not ship any tree or shrub seedlings.

If you would like to be notified as soon as online ordering opens for subsequent tree program years, visit the Kenosha County Notify Me page, enter your e-mail address and sign-up for the "Kenosha County Tree Program Mailing List" under the "Notify Me" section.
